I designed a series of 3 retreats across 4 days for new Board members, Head of Departments and the Leadership Team of Tzu Chi Foundation in Singapore to have generative conversations about the future.

Through these conversations, they identified trends and threats, collaborative projects between departments to amplify their impact and aligned their priorities to national trends mentioned in the Forward Singapore report.

The following outcomes were achieved:

  • Enabled new Board Members to build relationships with each other and learn about the Foundation’s key areas of work and strategic positioning in preparation for a future Board strategic planning meeting.

  • Enabled Leadership Team and Head of Departments to brainstorm organization-wide initiatives to improve inter-departmental collaboration and identify the Foundation’s positioning against broader societal trends identified in the Forward Singapore report, to adapt and stay relevant.
